Si eres de los que luego de instalar el juego GTA 4 y ejecutarlo te da un tal "Error Critico: RMNV40" esto sucede porque para jugar este juego en Windows XP debes tener instalado el Service Pack 3.
Sin embargo si no lo quieres instalar solo debes hacer lo siguiente:
► Nos vamos a la carpeta del juego "\Archivos de programa\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV"
► Buscamos el archivo LaunchGTAIV.exe le damos clic con el botón derecho del mouse y hacemos clic en Propiedades, dentro del cuadro que se nos abre hacemos clic en la pestaña Compatibilidad, marcamos la casilla "Ejecutar programa en el modo de compatibilidad para:" y seleccionamos Windows 2000
► Hacemos lo mismo pero esta ves con el archivo GTAIV.exe
► Ya en este punto deberiamos ejecutar el juego sin ningun problema, en caso de que salgo algun error, ejecutas el juego mediante "Rockstar Games Social Club" (acceso directo que se crea en el escritorio al instalar el juego)■ Para ejecutar el juego mediante el Rockstar Games Social Club debemos estar desconectados de internet, iniciar sesión hacemos clic en "Omitir inicio de sesión", hasta que te aparezca una pantalla con el botón JUGAR haces clic en él y el juego se debería abrir sin problemas.
